Is this a bad idea..."Upgrade" my Gravely 148z?

    I bought a 2005 Gravely 148z with 250hrs on it 2.5 years ago to mow my 2+ acres. Thanks to a lot of help here and some research, I thought I made a good deal for myself. After mowing for two seasons, I'm wondering if I have better options. For one, I would love to have a larger deck. One, obviously for cut time, but two, with a 48" deck, I don't get much extension to trim closer to the apple trees, etc., that I have throughout my property. I've also not been a fan of the hydraulics on the Gravely as it seems WAY too twitchy in the controls. It's built like a tank, and has some of the largest drive tires as well as fronts I've seen. I don't have dealer support for it in the area, which shouldn't be a huge issue, and it hasn't been. I'm just wondering if it's pointless to try to upgrade a machine based on these reasons alone?
