If the mechanic says it work ok, I'd say go for it, but try to bring the price down. You'll probably put $1000 into it for paint, new jack with a wheel, maintenance. How are the tires, battery, coolants, oil, cables, plugs, etc.?

ended up buying it for $2300

fresh oil, new battery, tires are in great condition...getting a new jack on it today, will think about how we want to paint/advertise with it and have that done before blowout season...i feel like it was a pretty good deal, i haven't been able to find anything near that price range even on the internet

that is nice, we still rent one instead of buying one. we have a good pal that owns several, and we rent for an extra good price

yeah, i've already talked to a few companies that i know pretty well and they said they would rent from me if i buy one, so we will make some money back there...it's nice to have your own so you don't have to be pressured to get all of your systems blown out in a week and you can take care of a random call here and there

but then again, it is even nicer to blow them all out in super packed order, to maximize the money, i spend the time to very efficiently schedule mine even as far down as driving route and staying on the same side of the street etc. so owning one at this point, just doesnt pan out. would have to rent it to make it worth it, and then, it aint worth it either
