I have a guy that wants to sell me a Scag 36" WB with Sulky (sp) with 40 hrs on it for $2300.

He also wants to sell me a Gravely 44" WB with Sulky with 140 hrs on it.

It seems like a good deal and I don't want to miss out.

    Should I jump on it?

You didn't give a price on the Gravely, but I'd jump on that Scag for that price with only 40 hours on it.

Sorry, the Gravely was offered for $1800.

For $4300 should I go for that deal?

I need to decide here in the next few hours.

Where did the $4300 come from?

I promise I'm not an idiot.

It's like I can't add today or something.

    1800 + 2300 = 4100. Not 4300! DUH! :hammerhead:

He was originally asking 2500 for the Scag so I was still thinking along those lines.

Good deal or not a good deal?

I would say good deal. You can buy both mowers and sell one if you wanted to. I believe that the Scag brand new is around 3k, so for only 40hrs., a sulky, for 2,300 is a pretty good deal.
