I missed an opportunity this week on a 2002 isuzu npr hd 16' box with 103k miles @ $13,000. It was on ebay and the guy was going to sell it to me for said price but about 10 hrs before I went to look at it it hit the reserve price ($12000), and wound up selling for $14,300. He could not end it early after it hit reserve. Anyway, he found another one that's a 14' with a dovetail and ramps already on it. This one is a 2001 with 115K mi for $15,000. It's not an hd but I dont really need that anyway. Do you think its still a good deal? I figure by the time I ordered the ramps, paid shipping, got them installed I'd probably have $2000-2500 in them anyway. Its has a turbo deisel, as did the first one. Also, how much does it cost to get the box painted with my logo and #? What kind of place does this, a graphics place or something?
Those of you that have a box with a dovetail...This one is a 14'. Is that 14' from the front of the box to where it starts to dip, or is the the entire length? He said it's 14' to the start of the dovetail, but that doesnt sound right. I'll have 2 walkers in a line (48" and 42" deck). It'll be tight if the 14' includes the dovetail. Thanks in advance for any responses.
I know that I'm saving for a new NPR. I love those those trucks they are the ultimate lawn trucks. I think, $11,800-$13,000 is a good price. I realize yours is going to be enclosed. How many ZTR's can you fit in there. How much more money do you have to invest in the truck before it can be 100% operational? I wisk you luck those trucks rock. They serve mutipurposes. You can use the trucks for installs or haul a trailer full of shrubs and put trees in your NPR. Awesome.
This truck is ready to go...except for the lettering. I think I'm going to get it b/c the box is 8' wide so I can get 2 walkers side by side, and I'll put shelves in the front of the box (behind the cab). I priced the ramps at $2800 with shipping, so I think $15k is a decent price.
