Is this moles

    Mole crickets. They look goofy. In large quantities they can do some damage.

    We had some earlier on a different property but I didnt see the underground nest like here. Hopefully we will get them out. The yard looks terrible.

    Do you notice pellet-like granules of dirt? Potentially these could be earthworms or night crawlers. They eat dirt and digest the organic matter--the excess dirt comes out the back in the form of cylindrical feces pellets. They are all about the same diameter.

    I suspect a heavy rain will smooth this out. If not, maybe a stiff rake would break up the small mounds.

    Only info I have are the pics. These were a teller at our bank. The grass is seriously damaged. We left her a message to give us a call but she has not.
