My cousin has about an acre and a half that he wants to seed. Parts of it are shaded, parts have no shade. He had wanted to go with Zoysia, but didn't really want to sod such a large area.

Is anyone familar with this Zoysia variety and this company as a place to buy it? http://www.seedland.com/Merchant/me...tore_Code=Seedland&Category_Code=ZOY-TRAVELER

He lives in Northern Arkansas (Zone 7), so would this be a good grass variety for a large lawn?

well the problem with that type of grass is that you either need to sod it or get plugs to establish lawn. i havent had any luck with seeding zoysia
