    i live in florida and was told yesterday that u cant aerate the lawns in florida cause its all sand and thaT you cant dethatch ?

    please help me out i was wanting to start these as new services to offer for more money

    I am new to the lawn service business, but I know that you can dethatch and every once in awhile I see this company driving down the road with a couple of fancy aerators on their trailer. The things are so big thats all they can get on the trailer. I also know that golf courses get aerated (same soil).
    I am sure you can aerate. You will need a little moisture in the soil so that it will hold together (I think).

    Look at some other outfits in your town as you make your rounds.
    Do any of them have aerator machines?
