We just bought our first Isuzu box with a dove tail. This will be a standard dovetail and 5 foot ramp. We noticed the ramps were VERY steep. Then we attempted to load the 48 Walker. Long story short- the Walker will go up the ramp, but you have to disengage the deck locks(the deck will pivot into the upright mode). We called the metal fab shop,(they install over 100 a year).
They said this is the first they had ever heard of this prob. Anyone else with a Walker experience this?

Our trailer ramp is also very steep. Dixie chopper deck gets caught all time, Exmark will go up and down at an angle, but not straight down because those metal supports under the engine. Our walker has no problems with it except when the deck is too low. We now stick a 2X4 (a 4X4 w/dixie) under the ramp and it helps a lot. Might want to try it.

Ihave never had this problem. Have you tryed going up in reverse? If you already are than The 2x4 should do the trick.
