The sixties are still alive and well, only improved and with fresher rides than the school buses of yore. The couple/characters travel around and do ornamental iron. Check the water wheel on the stern. :clapping:

very cool house car, gypsies maybe, maybe not.

a very good buddy of mine came home from the nam and built a beauty in the 70's, lived in it for 20 yrs banking cash for a house.

    nice piece of art.

They're from Angel's Camp, CA, still a old hippie and biker hangout. He's pretty young, long pony tail. His folks taught him well.

ANGELS CAMP!!! That's my territory. I bet they live in Sheep Ranch and used Angels Camp as a reference point. Mountain Ranch and Sheep Ranch were the Dead's stomping ground. Angels Camp is the closest incorporated city. I live near Twain Harte, but work in the areas around Angels Camp that aren't so hippeeish. A little more Wall Streetish.

The photos made me laugh. Reminded me of college where I lived in a mobile home park across the street from the campus where a bunch of hippies parked their buses back in the 70s and called it home. Still had all the buses with the volkwagens welded to the top. Right in the middle of 1 million dollar homes. Couldn't get rid of the old hippies. Neat place to live. Of course I took advantage of the hippies and bought two school buses and rented them out at top dollar! Ha Ha Ha...I am rich!

Thanks for the link, Michael, there are only a few of us that understand and embrace that lifestyle. :dancing:
