"AN ADVISORY FOR FROST HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR LATE TONIGHT THROUGH SUNRISE
WEDNESDAY...WHICH COVERS PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTH
CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THE FROST ADVISORY AREA IS GENERALLY TO THE
WEST OF A LINE FROM ALEXANDRIA THROUGH LITCHFIELD TO ALBERT LEA.

WHILE A WIDESPREAD...KILLING FROST IS EXPECTED IN THE ADVISORY
AREA WHICH WILL END THE GROWING SEASON...PATCHY FROST WILL BE
POSSIBLE OVER PART OF EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...INCLUDING OUTLYING
SUBURBS OF THE TWIN CITIES. AREAS OF FROST MAY VERY WELL OCCUR OVER
PARTS OF WESTERN WISCONSIN TOO. HOWEVER...THE EXTENT OF FROST OUTSIDE THE
ADVISORY AREA WILL DEPEND ON THE TIMING OF CLEARING TONIGHT...ALONG
WITH HOW RAPIDLY WINDS DROP OFF."

Looks like I might get an early fall, or at least back off to mowing every other week for a while...

Send some my way. Has been feeling like fall the last couple of weeks. Little early but welcome. Last year was mowing weekly till the second week of november. Think I have had three days off since March and like Brendan am wore slap out.

Spotty frost just north of us a tad, predicted for tonight. I hate to say it but I'm ready for the mowing to slow down, the wet cool fall so far has had the grass growing heavier than spring. We still have a lot of other work that needs to get done, so slower mowing would be a blessing right now.

Of course no frost here, but my mowing season has been shortened by the drought this summer. We finally got some rain about a month and a half ago that perked things back up pretty good, then another period of drought. Then when we got more rain, we also got cool nights and when that happens in the South the grass does not grow. So, it has not been a good growing season down here. Maybe next year things will be better.

Still have the leaf season to contend with, and a few accounts with water, so I'll make it, just not a banner year.

It seems as though it will be here a bit early as well.........
I'm quite happy with that, we've got some plans.........

Enjoy it while you can, life is too short to work yourself to death.
