I just talked to my dealer, and the Fs85 is history. I know this thread came up before, but I was still disappointed when he told me the news.

Luckily he has one more left and I am picking it up tomorrow. I really dont need another trimmer right now, but this may be my last chance to get one.

If you guys have a chance to get your hands on one, you should do it now. Fs110 is all there will be soon.

The FS 80 R is still available
get a $30 drive shaft for an FS 85
and your still cheeper than a FS 85 R
    FS 80 R $269-279 + $25 - 30 = $294 - 309 vs.

    FS 85 R $329 vs.

    FS 110 R $339.

Do you know what the "R" stands for? It stands for reconditioned. For some reason that unit was returned to the factory and reworked. These "R" units still carry the same warranty but thought you may like to know.
