Sorry I haven't been on here much, but for those who know me I thought I would give you an update now that I am in a better condition. Back in October I was in an accident, and after going to see many doctors, and getting told there was nothing they could do, I finally found a specialist who operated on me, and now 9 days after the surgery I have taken my first steps. I'm not going to bore you with all the details, but I wanted to say thanks for those who have sent me e-mails and for those who sent cards. Business is great. I hired a crew leader/Foreman who has a job with me as long as he wants one. He is a great worker, very picky about his and the crew members work, he runs my company as good if not better than I was before my accident. No I will not tell his name so someone can buy him out from under me. I just want to say I am blessed because of him.

Mowing Buddies has exceeded 250 clients, and when I am stronger I am going to start looking for another truck to add another crew. Good luck to you all, and I hope none of you are ever faced with being paralyzed, but if so check out Dr. Lloyd Hey at Duke. The guy is a real expert, and as far as I am concerned a Miracle worker.:)

I haven't been on here recently to know about your current situation but I am sure glad to hear that you are on the road to recovery.
My job on the fire dept lets me see some of the bad that happens to people. I have been a medic for many years. It is sure nice to hear a positive outcome for someone and just by reading your post I can see that you have a great attitude.
I know for a fact that in life we are not the rule makers, we are at Gods will and he chooses not to tell us why right at this moment. I believe that there is a reason for everything and someday we will know, even if it doesn't make sense today.
I am very happy for you and wish you the best.

    That's wonderful, Mow"N"Bud!

I didn't know what happened to you, and I looked briefly through your old posts, but didn't see any reference to it. Just saw where you were thinking of selling off your stuff.

Anyway, glad to hear you're doing better!

You hit it right on the head, it is God's way, even though we want control, there is really nothing in life that we can control. Believe me I have seen it too many times if he does not want you to get your next breath you want.
