Well, just finished putting out 135 flyers. I already have a shrub trimming job. I am not expecting much, first time I have ever had to put out flyers. I will see how it goes.

Haven't posted in awhile. Have 2 installs coming up, as well as some plantings. I already have people signing up for leaf removal, I am hoping to really fill up with that this year. Thinking about putting an add in my school paper for leaf removal, that might draw some attention to me. Marching band is keeping me super busy for the time being. Our band is rated to be #1 in the state of Virginia and in the top 20 on the east coast. It is so much fun to be apart of, but such a demanding rehearsal schedule. That's really all for now, I may go buy a stihl shredder vac or kombi system before the end of the year.

Here are some before pictures of the install I am working on. I am putting in a timber wall against a slope to stop erosion.

Here is what its looking like now, obviously no where close to being done. The soil is terrible, filled with roots and rocks, but I keep slugging away with the pick axe and the spade. If any one has any suggestions on how to combat this problem, please tell me. Took me way longer than it should have to dig that trench.

Also, the last pic was when i was about to leave, so the other posts were in the yard.

Bump, can anyone help me out with this issue? I'm really open to anything as long as you don't bash.

Sounds like you already have the trench dug and the bottom part in? What more digging do you need to do?

Hey Jake , haven't heard from you in awhile, how you doing?
I need to dig a second trench so that the two bottom beams will connect like an L.

Well, i finished up the retaining wall job. Changed the design around, re-dug deeper trenches, etc.. I think it looks nice.

I recently got a job to remove a decent amount of brush, trim large hedges, prepare beds and edge them, along with a smaller stone retaining wall. If I get it, I'm going to buy a stihl kombi, but I'm wondering what attachments I should get. No bed re-definer, I'm just going to rent for now. Also, no trimmer head, I have a trimmer already. Anyone have opinions on how the brush cutter, blower, straight shaft edger, adjustable hedge trimmer, and pole pruner do? Thanks in advance.
