I would like to kill an area that is infested with Japanese knotweed. I am going to use Crossbow with either weed oil or diesel fuel per the label. I also have a grass area that has Japanese knotweed in it. I am going to go with the crossbow mixed at a higher rate with water.

    Feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

F.G. I will let you in on a secret. Probably not really a secret, but in the lawn area, a 24-D ester formulation will work very well. DO NOT use this in 80 degrees or better temps. If the plants are large, mow / cut them back, and when they start to leaf out again, that is when to treat them. Hope this helps you.

TC, when using the Crossbow how did you mix. I really do not want to use diesel, but I am worried that I will not get very good results if I use water?
