    I have a 2005 John Deere 797, 29 hp kaw,with 60" deck for sale.

    It has 330 hrs on it all servicing is up to date and is in good condition. I will deliver within 100 miles of Louisville, MS.

    I have 3 sets of blades and a mulching kit (currently installed) for this mower.

    Asking $8750.

    It may be the price for that kind of money most would buy a new machine JMO

    Very well said BQLC, the machine looks good however it still has 300+ hours, for that type of money I would purchase one brand new with a warranty and with zero hours. I think your probably $1500 to 2000 off. BOL

    I said that was what I was asking.... there is always some negotiating room. Talked to the dealer this morning and a new one would cost $11,200 with the mulching kit.

    I was not trying to bash. It is great looking machine. but for that kind of money a guy may go and purchase a new mower of a different brand. Thats all I'm trying to say.

    I know... that green paint looks good but it sure does hurt the pocketbook. I wouldn't be selling it, but I took a fulltime job (insurance, retirement, etc) and it is just too much mower to use on my 1 acre yard.
