    Hey Jim

We purchased a 14' x 42" Intex above ground pool
I set it up about a few weeks ago ago in hopes the weather was going to get better

This weekened was the first this year to climb past 70 in temps. Of course the pool water is still very cold

The filter pump on it is like 1,500 GPH.

I've been looking online but haven't had any luck finding anything.

But , is there an electric heater out there that I can attach on the filter hoses in series after the filter pump

    Like Intake > Hose> Filter Pump> Outake> Hose> Heater unit> Hose outake back to pool ??

    Thanks in advance

I love to swim but not in this cold of water

I think an electric space heater and extension cord would do the trick? Don't you?

How about this one? Economically priced at 19 dollars. Even comes with a timer.

    hah.

Yah I signed up on a pool forums and they said the same thing

Gas or electric run minimum for $500. I do have a 240 dedicated circuit that's 20' away from the pool . But i'm not investing that much on a $250 pool .

They suggested a solar panel. They go for about $150 . It's a 4x20 panel and can raise the pool up to 10 degrees.. I'm considering this one.
