    So I priced up a job this week wanted to have some opinions I think its very fair, seems to be hard to find people who actually know how much stuff cost.

    25 yards double ground pine bark installed at 3’’ at $45.00 a yard=$1125.00

    *223’ bed edging at 1.00 a foot = $223.00

    *3 yards fill dirt for 32’ fence delivered and installed = $225.00

    * Material delivery $127.00

    * Removal of 2 plants and bed prep no charge.

    Total = $1700.00

    is $1 per foot for bed edging a pretty standard price? does it change depending on the style of edging or is it consistent regardless of if its the black plastic of some sort of stone edging?

    Sounds low to me as well. Just the mulch alone would be over the $1500 range here.

    Soil sounds about right. Edging sounds low as well.

    Good Luck.

    I get $67 per yard for mulch. The edging is what I charge. The Top Soil is low. I charge $25 each for removing old shrubs. With a large job, my overhead calculaton would cover the bed prep. Hope this helps.

    mark the mulch up another 2 or 3 hundred. also mark your edging up to 3 hundred even. final price of job should be about 2200
