does anyone know where to get the vinyl laminated carboard signs. I really can't explain them for some reason. We have been using real estate type signs and having them professionally lettered, but they are costly and getting stolen by kids or the competition. I see a lot of guys using like a cheaper version. Doesn anyone know what I am talking about and where to purchase them at? thanks

I know what your referring to, just about any good sign shop can make them for you. Most I've seen are screen printed rather than vinyl cut, this is cheaper for quantity purchases. Take a look in the back of trade magazines too, you might find them pretty cheap by mail order.

I did the mamma search, went to a few websites, found the average price to be more like 28 dollars. Where did you find the signs for 1.25 - 2.25 ? Were they signs that can be read from a distance, or little step-stakes?

I bought some that were 18X 24 one color without stakes bought stakes from a different source
$185 for 100 signs screen printed
quantities to smal be screen printed have to made with vinyl letters and do run in the $28 dollar range
these signs are probably too small for you, sorry I didn't read your post carefully

I am looking for something aroud 18X24, low cost so if they get lost, stolen, thrown out, it wouldn't be that big of a loss....

Check with the city you're working in before putting up a sign. I got a warning from an inspector the other day. He left a sticker on my sign that read "no job signs".
