I have a 2004 JD 110 Backhoe with four hundred hours on it and since its gone out of warranty September of last year its broken the right stabilizer piston, rod snapped in half, steering piston rod snapped in half, and now the right swing arm piston rod for the hoe snapped in half, which brings it to almost three thousand dollars in pistons. My question here is anyone else having this problem with the 110.

    wow that sucks
sounds like they got a bad batch of pistons
    did u call john deere?
dont talk to the dealer most stink
i looked at the 110 to replace my 4500 but it seemed to me that all they did was to beef up the frame and use the same stuff from the 4000 series
which was to light in my opin for the added power

there are several tractor forums out there where this question is brought up a lot... Some swear by the 110 and others swear at them. No different regardless what brand or color.
