I have a problem with 2 JD 332 mowers. I am going through fuel pumps. I have bought 2 in the past month and they both have died. Does anyone have any idea why these would be going bad. The loacal mechanics cannot seem to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks JFuss@ec.rr.com

    Two possible come to mind.
    1. Check fuel line from tank and tank for any debris or restrictions. If you have an restriction the pump could be over working to pump fuel or running dry.
    2. Check alternator for proper output. If to high of voltage is being put out, it could possibly be frying your pump. Also check circut fuse for proper amp size.
