    John Deere 997

Dealer demo 2006 model with 175 hrs what would you pay?

Looking at getting a 997 and a Z850A both 72's demo'd both like both the 850 will get the fix kit and the power should be better.

sold my 757 mod and the 777 72"

I like the 850 but the 997 is much better on Fuel not sure about the price for the Demo with 175 hrs Ill get the full 2 year warente though.

John Deere is buying back my 850a and I'm getting the 997. I would take the 997, do not get the 850a. Way to many problems, not just the power related issues either.

We used it for 5 hrs worked fine need a bit more power.

I like the new "stuff" on them too. the 777 was getting tired and Its time to replace the old ones.

What else have you had problems with on the 850

    1st one 72" '05 #10173 0 hours $11,500 May '05

get the last five digits , that's the production number & the hour meter
$4.00 for each hour off $12,000. Year may not be as important as hours on the meter
