    Hello
I have a John Deere LX-277 and have replaced the PTO switch and the PTO clutch, but after mowing for about 10 minutes the blades stop. I ahve to start blades again and after a couple of minutes they stop again. My rear end is not coming off the seat nor am I hitting the reverse.

    Any help please....

Doesn't that have one of those funky switches that lets you back up without turning the blades off? I would suspect that switch if there's one on it.

Then maybe you should check the PTO clutch engagement switch, It could have a corroded contact that is heating up and shutting it down. See if it's warm to the touch after mowing and it shuts off.
