I don't know about you but I wouldn't spend all that money buying a mower that you have to stand up on. If I were you i'd spend a little more and get a mower that has a seat.

A mower with a seat isn't as compact or versatile as a stander. Stander is a good mix between walking and sitting. Guys with bad backs don't like to sit all day.

do a search, lots of discussions on standers.

We have one and it is great. One thing you have to be sure of is that the person operating it is skilled. Some operators have a hard time not tearing up the lawn while making turns, while for others it is not an issue at all. ONly problem I have is that we have to change the oil every 25hrs(I just posted a ? on this) One other thing to remember is that these mowers were built to replace the walk behind, not the rider. I like the stander because it is incredibly fast and maneuverable and I believe customers would rather see a person standing while mowing their lawn than sitting.
