John Deere 997 vs. Kubota ZD331, Which is better? I have to buy another new mower this year. We cut about 160 acers a week with 2 Z"s.( School & Park) We currently use JD 797"s. Good all around mowers, just not enough grunt when things gut lush and you have to go slow.

I havn't used either of those mowers, but I have been eyeballing the Kubota ZD236. If you go with the kobota let me know how it does in tall lush grass?

I recently purchased a ZD331. My thoughts about he mower are in the "mowers/equipment" section. I am glad I went with the Kubota. I looked at Bad Boy, JD, Skag and the Kubota.
