I looked at one of these mowers at a dealership the other day and for $7,000 they seem like a bargain. I mow 6 arces of fairly hilly terrain including a good stretch of steep ditches, are these mowers built tough enough to handle this type of mowing? I've gone through 2 grasshoppers (618's) in the last 5 years, both were used and a couple years old when I bought them but they couldn't hold up to that much mowing and the transmissions went out. I'm just looking for something durable that will last for many years...the John Deere Z520A just looks like a great deal but is it made for my type of mowing or do I need to step into the commercial realm of mowers?

"A good stretch of steep ditches"......Is it more than a 20 Degree angle?

If it is, you are going to destroy whatever you buy, even if it is commercial (they just won't lubricate properly).
If $7,000.00 is a bargain to you, all I can say is "I want to be YOUR dealer".
