I'm looking into adding a Z930M EFI to my fleet this year. Can anyone tell me the difference between the 2013 and the 2014 models? And what are the pros and cons to this mower??

I bought a new Z930M (but not the EFI) last october and used it a lot for mainly leaf jobs up to the end of december and it ran very well. Its very tight handling and has a lot power. I only wish the engine was a little easier to access to work on but i think with a few bolts removed you can have full access. Overall so far im really happy with it tho.

I really like them as well but think I would get the carb version. Just to much to go wrong with/ plus would hate to see the bill if something does happen with the fuel system..

Nothing overly positive or negative but the dealer support is going to be good.

I have a 2013 925M-54" MOD since March 2013. Overall I like the mower. I mainly went with JD for the MOD feature as it allows me to carry one mower vs 2. I previously carried 2, 1 with open deck and 1 with a mulch kit. To some degree the MOD is a comprimise but it works great for me. I have the DFS collection system for fall/winter cleanup and it's the best system of 3 I've had in the past. It doesn't hold hills as well as my Hustler Super Z and the Z feels lighter and quicker.

So if I get the 925 or 930 with MOD deck, will I be able to mulch half the clippings and bag half at same time? And still get a good solid cut and stripe? Most of my lawns I currently bag, but have thought about starting to do some mulching, but mainly still bagging? So not sure what deck would be best the MOD or the standard pro deck.

I would save the extra money and simply put mulching blades on if you want to mulch and still bag everything. I bought the dump from seat collection system and it already mulched eveything very well with the standard pro deck. Not everyone is the same but it worked for me and still left a tight and clean pattern in the lawn.
