I have a chance to buy a John Deere ZTR 60" w/25 hp. The seller says it's a model #M-665. I have looked on JD's web site and can't find any info on the mower. Does anybody know what years the m-665 might have been made. I can get for a pretty good price, but I can't find any info on it.

I think Great Dane made them for JD about 7-8 years ago ?

John Deere only recently started building any of their own ZTR's, after the bought (and later sold) Great Dane.

Great Dane did build the 717 & 727 for several years, and still does build the Quick Trak stand-ons. Same mowers as the Great Danes frame-wise with all the proprietary/special Deere parts, the Deere color scheme and the 7-Iron deck.

The same is true basically for the M-600 series mowers.... except these units were built by Yazoo/Kees. Aside from the Deere stuff, it's the same thing as the "OLD" Yazoo/Kees ZT-Max mower.

The John Deere M-665 is a very late model now.
