Does anyone have this unit? Before I go and drop almost $900.. I'd like some feedback. Are you happy with it? How long does it take to attach & detach the unit? Are there any other units I should consider?

    Thanks in advance..

TAKE A LOOK AT SPYKER. THEIR MOTORS HOLD UP A LOT BETTER

Is the Spyker available at lawn/landscape dealerships? I've never seen one before. How much does the Spyker cost?

Have you owned both JRCO & Spyker?

Have used one for two seasons would buy another one if had to do it over. does not come with screen in tub, pedal to open bottom not set up very well and for the price you should get a much better spreader. Spiker looks good but have not used it. Can not afford after buying the Jrco.

i agree with broken leg the foot pedal is a very difficult to use, but other than that i have no other problems with it. I bought it last summr and have enjoyed it since. saves alot of walking

What makes the pedal difficult to use?

does either have an agitator in the hopper. does either one not get fert. all over the mower and deck. I see that some plastic might have been added to the one above. my dad has a round one that is alot stronger looking than the one above. i think it is around 400 in a catolog i saw the other day and i made a bracket in about 15 min. only one pin to pull and unplug wires. it does get fert all over the mower and i dont like that. no agitator.

I have had know problems with the motor. Yes it does have an agitator but not a screen in the hopper. The pedal is not a pedal but a leaver. for the price it could have been engineered a hole lot better.
