My 2004 toro 52 ztr with a 19hp kawi motor is very touchy with the left steering arm. I have about 600 hrs on it. It is hard to go straight when I am going slow. I have not changed the hydraulic fluid since I have owned it for two years. I want to know, if it was something I could fix with simple homeowners/ shop tools. Or should I bring it to my local dealer at $70 hr? I do have the entire winter to fix this. I am somewhat mechanically inclinded, with time on my side. Thanks in advance! Mike

Sounds like the steering gas shock dampener is shot. Easy fix under the seat. Best of luck.
