Just curious where you are at.

    I'm wondering what your company gross per truck or year. I understand everyone has different overheads I'm just curious what you can produce.
    I have 3 crews
    10 employes
    This year we have grossed over 600k as of sept.
    again I understand out of that 600 k I could have spent 595k to make it and be better off begging on the street corner. I guess I just feel like my trucks or company has maxed it's income potential due to we run 40+ hours a week.

    I have 3 guys working with me and I shoul do alittle over $220,000 by Dec. We have a small mowing crew and a landscaping grew. My payroll a week is around $1,200 a week. Things are usually allways tight for me. I'm allways trying hard to keep the bills paid. I want to stay the same size next year but try to hit the $300,000 mark.

    I am about to finish my second year in my business and will gross just over $250,000. You are right about overheads, it is different with every company but my main focus is to buy as much as possible and not borrow to buy it. My payroll is just under $1400 per week. I have one full time crew (3man) and one part time crew which I started mid year(2 man, 2days/week). In regards to what i gross per truck per year, I shoot for $150,000/per truck(3man crew).

    So about 60,000/year in payroll and things are that tight? Even at 200k. 40k in taxes? (high) that's 100k left over. What's tight? What am I missing? I bet there's some places you can find some real money being thrown away. We can all help each other. I'm good at money but bad about getting paranoid about stupid things. Lawn guys need to be friends and not competitors so please don't think I'm being critical

    Given the above figures, you are grossing $60K per employee. If you raise that figure just 5%, that's an additional $36K in revenue. My advice to you is to develop an employee rewards program to encourage sales by your employees. I am a one-man show that will be at about $100K for fiscal 2012.

    Your right maybe I'm paranoid, i do okay i guess, things just allways feel tight when your running a buisiness and allways waiting on money coming in.Thanks friend!

    I think you'll do fine. Do you write things down? One thing I started doing is keeping a written plan. Designate each and every dollar from each and every check. Really helped me

    I should gross around 112 this year and the only debt I have is my truck. The half-ton with 200k just wasn't cutting it even more. I'm hoping to have the truck paid off in 3 years

    But, I should add, money is really tight this time of year. I am running one guy full time, but all my customers are on contract forthr most part and this time of year there is a lot of time and money going out to stay caught up
