what is a more profitable business- irrigation installs, landscaping or fertilizer application? I was going to include lawn care but i'm pretty sure that can't compare. any input would be helpful.

The more profitable buisness is the one YOU can make money at. Post a resume and we'll chip in some suggestions.

thanks for the reply. my resume would only show one thing- heavy equipment operator. i'm just considering changing careers (if you can call this a career). but it's all up in the air right now.

operating heavy equipment can be very profitable, I would start with that, its what your expierenced in. And then add value added service after that. Good Luck
