Bidding a small residential maintenance contract.

Mowing approx 2thou square feet 3 times month.

Fert (fesc front, centipede back) 2 times year. Overseed, 1 time year.

Weed control, perhaps twice a year, 1 hour labor, one gallon spray.

Pick up sticks in natural areas, maybe 4 thou square feet.

Leaf removal, four times/year, 4 man hours each. Dump leaves in woods near house.

Planting 4 flats pansies in spring, begonias or snapdragons in summer.

What is fair for these services per month, for a 1 year contract?

    Thanks.;l

    Trevor.

    Don't be lame.
You obviously have to much time.

For those of you who are serious........
    I'm thinking about 100/month.

Now that you stated your price, and by what you described about the prop. I would maintain it for about 130-150 per month.

    How many weeks of service?

Here I would service the yard about 48-50 weeks a year and charge around $125-150, more if there was lots of shrubs to maintain.

thank you all, and trevor, I hope we can be civil to each other from now on. I was just still angry and am still a little appalled by your "scrub" post. I'm for starting anew.

sounds way low to me. i typically give only monthly mow price. all else is extra with that secret hourly rate number in the back of my head as i price. Fert and weeding i usually throw in with mow price.....but not cleanups or aerations, or dethatching(those are all price seperately). my pricing has some of my competitors scratching there heads but clients seem to be signing on the dotted line.
