I had to close a nursery in October. D.O.T. always wins. Started my lawn care business in November. I've been doing cleanups and pinestraw installations. I'm up to fourteen customers so far and have done very little advertising. I'm going with a very popular service page add in our local paper. Just wondering if i'm on track to start out the spring in good shape.

The service directory in our local paper is how I started. I was snowed under with jobs.March seems to give you the best bang for the buck.If they called for an estimate I brought my rig and was prepared to do the work on the spot. That way no sense in getting another estimate.Got a lot of new customers quick like that.GL

Yes, print up some flyers they are a good way to get new customers. And with flyers you can target specific areas you wish to work in.
