Just got done mowing my first lawn

    and it kicked my ass :weightlifter:

    I charged $35 for mowing, trimming the edges, edge trimmed the bushes that bled through the fence from the other side, and removed small debris. All under Florida heat and humidity :cry:

    Here's to my first day on the job and to my future :cool2:

    About 45 minutes. How much would you have charged?

    did you have to take the stuff to the dump? if so charge for that. I try to make a dollar a minute and im still fairly new and able to do it a majority of the time.

    $35 would have been fine for just the mowing, blowing, and edging. But the extra stuff you should have charged extra for.

    Around $60. Loading, unloading and trip charge added to that 45 minutes of yours

    My first cuts almost always take a bit longer, how long do you thing the 2nd cut will take?

    Whoa. Do you live in a rich neighborhood or something? I won't land an account if I charged $60 for a residential prop.

    gasoline is getting ready to skyrocket to 10.00 a gallon. Will that account still be profitable after the increase?
