I posted on here a problem i was having with a JX75 i recently purchased.
it starts fine however when you try to throttle it down the engine does not slow down until it gets to the off position then it dies.
someone sugested that the choke was stuck and that sounds reasonable.
how do you check for this/ fix this?
I can not find my old tread.
    thank you

Pull the air filter off and look at the butterfly valve at the mouth of the carburetor,
that's your choke valve, if it's closed it means it's shut, otherwise it should be open.

You might have to pull more than the air filter to get a good look,
moving the throttle back and forth can help you spot it.
