    I have (2) Bobcat 32" mowers with kawaski 14hp fc420V motors om them purchased in 2001...The one engine keeps going out of alignment with the values & back fires when doing so unable to start the machine...i had it fixed once already & woud like to fix it myself his time without running back & forth to the lawn store dose anmone know were I can purchase a good service manual for this machine.....You know the old saying if you want it fixed right do it yourself

    I FINALLY found out what the heads torque on (FH500V).......Thankz to Terry K......, and now need to know what the valves lash on. (ready to start after that)

    lesco they will order it for you from the factory or a scag dealer or any where you see kawasaki products .

    Noticed your excellent post (pics) in a thread below, Hole In One.
    Would the valve lash be about the same on the Kaw. twins, as the single cylinders? (if you had to guess)

    I have an overhead vaule system the diagram above dosn't corrospond to my kawaski engine design...I need to just pull the OHV plate off the front of the engine & adjust Im just not sure of the tollerances....
