Kawasaki 19 hp

    I need to know what type engine oil should be in this engine, is it okay for synthetic. This is on a 2004 exmark

    i use 10w 30. i dont think anything would be wrong with synthetic.

    Just use a synthetic version of whatever grade of oil Kawasaki recommends for the engine. You may have to stop in more than one store to find it, though.

    The following are recommended
    API Service Classification: SF,SG,SH,or SJ
    Viscosity according to temp.
    68f - 104+ SAE40
    0 - 90ish SAE30
    -4 - 90ish SAE 10W-30/SAE 10W-40
    The multi grade oils (10w-30/10W-40) will increase oil consumption. Dont ask me why, this info is directly from kaw. owners manual

    I just put amsoil in my new 21kawi.
