I have a Kawi 26 HP liquid cooled engine with 27 hours on it. When I got it brand new the coolant level was between the low and high mark on the overflow tank which is where it should be. I noticed at about 15 hours that it was down in the low area so I added some coolant to bring it back up to the middle. I noticed today at 27 hours that it is back down around the low area again. Maybe it was a little low to start with?

Should the level in this tank go down once the engine heats up?

    Thanks...

Yes it works like your car. If the radiator needs coolant it pulls it out of the tank. If not it puts it back in.

tnpete, did you notice this with your Kawi? Thanks for the help.
