I got the chance to try a Kawasaki BP blower out the other day at Lesco. What a disappointment. I thought for sure, after the great trimmer, that the blower would be awesome! I felt like I was trying to push myself over whenever I swept to the left and all in all, it just didn't seem to have the power of my OLD Stihl BR400. This blower was brand-new and $400 or so. Has anyone used Stihl's and Kawasaki's? What are your thoughts?

must have been the krb400. the krb700 is stronger than any stihls i've tried. for $100 more, the krb700 is a nice, lightweight powerful blower.

Cap'n, I didn't really notice all that much of a difference in the weight. Maybe it was just in how it was set up? And this one was selling for $400, I think. You saying they have one that sells for $500?

did it have the angled snout? when it's turned to the side, they seem awkward at first.

Yes, it had the angler on it. I tried it pointed down, up, and off. Still didn't care for it.
