Kawasaki charging issue

    I have 25 hp kawi on my scag....Last month or so, it wont keep the battery charged. I have tried a new battery and it ran down in less than 5 hours..Trying to fix myself to save money any ideas?? THANKS

    This may or may not help you due to the fact i only have a 19hp kawi , but i had same problem and it was 1 of the fuses that are next to the throttle and stuff .. hope its this simple for you .

    My John Deere rider {Kawasaki} had this problem. Replaced the rectifier and all is well. It could be a stator problem, also.

    There are a few posts on this topic, but heres a few things to check...
    Check voltage at battery when running. should be 14.1 - 15 v
    Check fuses
    then check for ac output at regulator 26v ac min
    check there for dc output if you have the ac
    pretty simple
