have a 14 hp engine that starts and will idle forever but then when the blades are engaged it will run for about 5 minutes and then stall out. It has a new fuel filter, spark plug, and gas. Any ideas?

  2. Does it start right back up?

no, it doesn't. Sometimes it will start other times it does not.

I've got two 12.5 Kawasakis and the only trouble similar to yours has always been carburator related. I just took them off and cleaned them and blew them out with compressed air.

Always did the trick for me, might be worth checking.

Ah, I was close.... Shoulda said "problems in the fuel delivery system"...been there, done that too. Dirty carb came to mind first though.

Glad you got her up and running.
