How often should the valves be adjusted on a 24hp Kawasaki?

Kawasaki says that the valves should be adjusted every 300 hours in the manual for a 13 hp. I don't have a manual for a 24 HP.......

    Here is one by Restrorob.
Not the same hp but the procedure is the same.

My suggestion is after adjusting the gap, recheck the adjustment a few times by turning the flywheel before you put the valve cover back on. as per the directions state.

The proper gap size should be in your engine owners manual.
For my 25hp kaw it is .004-.006 in.
