What methods, if any, do you guys use to keep track of areas and neighborhoods that you have advertised in (put out doorhangers or flyers)? Do most of you do it by memory or have a system? Also, do you guys set up a pre-determined route to hit or just get out and ride?

Wherever we have accounts, the surrounding houses are the ones we try to hit. The more accounts you can land in the areas that you already work in, the better off it will be for you.

We do very much the same as Jodi said. This year we are trying to hit a lot more neighborhoods. They are getting handed out and the driver is using a yellow marker to color the streets on a print out of map quest. Don't know if I explained that very well, hopefully you understand.

Same here. We cover the entire neighborhoods of all of our existing customers first. Then we hit neighborhoods that are within a 15 mile radius that serve our target demographic. The only way we keep track is to right down each street we cover and keep it in alphabetical order. Also make copy of mapsco page and highlight the streets. Good luck.
