Kentucky 31 in southern Ohio

    Hey everyone. Moving to a new house in 2 weeks. Yard has primarily Kentucky 31. I through down some Pennington starter fertilizer and Pennington Tall Fescue mix. Most of the yard is Kentucky 31. What strands of bluegrass or fescue that will overtake the Kentucky 31?

    Not sure if your plan is possible. People from your area can advise you best. It is possible you will have to kill out the K-31 tall fescue and reseed with a modern improved variety. And since fescue does not spread (or creep). You need to add some top quality bluegrass to help knit it together.
