Anyone use any keystone product for 8" steps ? I will have 90 degree corners on the stairs as well.
for CRYIN out loud!
Would you get Keystone out of your head and just use Cornerstone! We have used all brands for all purposes - steps, walls, car jack stands, etc - and my block of choice is Cornerstone.
As Dr Suess says: Try it and you will see. You will see I say!
Alright alright Drew , I am convinced. I called York Building and I am going to use Cornerstone. The thing about the product I like is you don't have to buy a pallet of it. Just buy what you need. Then I don't have a half a pallet in my backyard . Hey Drew do you fill the cores of cornerstone for steps with #57 stone ?
Yes, we typically fill the cores for steps.
But if the steps are not holding back of a load, - then exceptions could possibly be made. So many variables come into play.
York offers good prices on their Cornerstone block. And if you ever have a large job that you know you got in the bag - they have a person that can spec the wall free of charge.
