This season I noticed a big patch of Bermuda grass invading my nice stand of tall Fescue. Well I let it go until this fall and the small patch has grown to about 15 yard diameter. It sucks to see a nice stripe till it gets to that Bermuda and it looks like the stripe got erased. I have read the post on getting rid of Bermuda in Fescue and I choose to just kill it with round up instead of the expensive herbicides. Question is after you roundup the patch what do you guys do after you round up it? Do you till up, tine rake it or anything? Any advise would be great. Thanks

  2. spray it again, then when you think its dead , spray it again and good luck.

I agree with JBLAWN. Even if it's coughing up blood, spray it again. You'd be amazed at how much bermuda can recover.

  4. That's also been my experience, so I combind the round up pro quick, with the expensive chemicals, get much better luck!
