I have a lawn that is all bermuda in Virginia. I have some fescue that was planted by a contractor that was working in the area digging up all the yards in the neighborhood. Can I spray the fescue while the bermuda is dormant?

You can treat unwanted grasses during the dormant season especially Tall Fescue.
Here are some chemicals that you will want to read the labels on. These are recommended for Tall Fescue control and are safe for Bermuda grass. Roundup is used for control and you will want to make sure that you are dealing with completely dormant Bermuda grass.??

    Simazine(Princep) ----Preemerge
    Trifloxysulfuron(Monument)--- Post emerge
    Foramsulfuron(Revolver) ---Post emerge
Diquat Dibromide(Reward) Burn down-spot spray --- Post emerge
Roundup(Glyphosate) as long as you are sure that the Bermuda is dormant
