Wich one do you perfer? Currently I own a 1992 walker ghs mower 16hp v twin kohler triad motor. Motor is bad. Looking to upgrade to 20-25 hp motor. Anybody ever put a honda in a walker or anything else? Any tips?

I bought a Grashopper with a blown 20HP Kohler Magnum for the right money and replaced the Kohler with a 22HP Honda. Not much of a problem. Check the repower section at Small Engine Warehouse to see if they have anything availablefor the Walker.

"1992 walker ghs mower 16hp v twin kohler triad motor"

Is the above correct? If so, I believe that this is not the original engine to begin with. Now if you have a newer (than 1992) Walker...

...when Walker stopped using the triad they went with the Kohler Command in the Walker "C." The part numbers for the fram, etc did not change for the first year of Command use in that model. While I have not tried it yet, I believe that a Kohler Command (such as from the model "T") should be a bolt-in job. Retrofitting another manufacturers engine into that small space is another story.

Before you get to type happy read all of the posts. Its to bad A grasshopper mower is different than a walker or you would be right. Maybe you just dont know the difference.
