We got a Kohler Command Pro 23 V-Twin engine thats about 3 years old. We now have are first major problem with this low hour engine. It is now starting to smoke a lot and foul plugs. Some oily residue in carb, but not enough to generate the amount of smoke it does. We are think it might be a possible head gasket. Compression in #1 is about 120, while #2 is about 140. We have left a message with our dealer to call us about any possible knowledge of this problem. Shop manual just ordered and not here yet. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of what this might be? Any factory notices concerning this problem?
