I'm new to this forum but have experience with "old iron" in the form of Allis Chalmers and Massey Ferguson tractors. I'm working on a Scotts Mower (by John Deere) that's a tribute to Rube Goldberg when it comes to wiring. Right now I'm just trying to get the engine started. It's a Kohler CV20S and though I can jump the starter, it doesn't fire. I'm trying to understand the 4 wire pigtail from the engine. The colors are RED, GREEN, BLUE and WHITE. Can anyone tell me where these go and what they do?
